The Real Reason You‘re Not Living Up To Your Dreams

Most people will cite extrinsic constraints for their inability to achieve their goals. But, outer forces are rarely the reason that we fall short of our potential. The true saboteur (or celebrator) of your dreams is always an insider.

If you’re not achieving your most important goals - whether that’s for better health, increased income, the relationship, career or lifestyle that you really want - you likely have a subconscious program running beneath your conscious awareness that is keeping you stuck.

The Origin of Limiting Beliefs

“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re probably right.”

-Henry Ford

Scientific research has shown that between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, we spend most of our waking hours in a slow-frequency brainwave state known as theta.

Theta is a dreamy, hypnagogic mental state in which we are highly impressionable and open to suggestion. This is the state that hypnotists intentionally induce to embed new attitudes and behaviors into the subconscious minds of their clients.

According to Rick Hansen, neuropsychologist and author of Hardwiring Happiness, about 1/3 of our brain is hardwired at birth, while the other 2/3 is shaped by our experiences and environment.

When we are young our brains are like sponges meticulously absorbing, recording and storing data from our environment. We are learning what to approach, what to avoid, what yields danger and what brings reward. During this time, the assimilation of information is swift and unchallenged as the higher reasoning centers in the brain aren’t yet fully developed. This is nature’s way of ensuring our survival.

Bruce Lipton Ph.D., author of The Biology of Belief, says this is also the time when we form our deepest and most lasting impressions about who we are, as well as our basic sense of the world in which we live.

The Hardwiring Of Early Imprints

“Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.”

-Earl Nightingale

So, did you fully register that? Your fundamental self-image and basic sense of the world have been largely determined by your 6-year old brain… yikes!

Being highly moldable in those early years is certainly useful when it comes to avoiding hot stoves and steep inclines, but it can drastically interfere with our ability to reach our greatest potential.

Difficult events from childhood and discordance in our environment, as well as the inevitable misperceptions of any young brain, can easily result in an overly negative self-image and biased view of the world. All of this can cause us to ingrain life-long, limiting beliefs about our capacities, worthiness and sense of safety.

What is truly stunning is that the earliest imprints are the ones that get hardwired into our subconscious mind and become the blueprint through which all future experiences are filtered.

No Wonder You Aren’t Thriving

“The outer conditions of a person’s life will always reflect their inner beliefs.” — James Allen

In adulthood, we spend most of our waking hours in a higher frequency brainwave state known as beta. Beta frequencies are dominant when we are alert, involved in complex thought, excited or anxious.

In this state, the conscious mind is highly activated and busily engaging with the world through the five senses. The conscious mind’s job is to decide what it wants and to set goals, but it is not actually responsible for figuring out to execute them.

Instead, it is the subconscious mind’s role to interpret the requests made by the conscious mind and figure out how to make it happen. Your subconscious mind reads your mental images and feeling and matches them against the original blueprint — that master program of beliefs and perceptions that you developed early in childhood.

If what you want opposes the original programming in any way, you’ll likely feel disbelief, distrust, inertia, or a vague sense that what you want is invalid or impossible. Your subconscious mind is resisting and sending you a negative emotion in an attempt to protect you from doing something that it’s been programmed to believe could endanger you.

So, while you may consciously want to better your life, if it has been imprinted upon your subconscious mind that it isn’t safe, or that you will incur loss of some sort, or that you’re not capable or worthy, or it’s just not possible for you, you will lack the ability to follow through and succeed.

Your early programming is likely at the root of many of the beliefs that you still hold today. And, it is a likely culprit for why you have not achieved those long-sought-after goals. It is important to understand that unless you intervene and consciously reprogram the negative beliefs, your subconscious programming will determine your success.

This can result in an endless loop of :

setting goals that you fail to achieve,

wasting your precious energy and resources,

developing even more negative beliefs about yourself and your capacities

and, most tragically of all, potentially never living up to your dreams and your potential.

How To Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind Using Your One True Voice

“The closer you come to knowing that you alone create the world of your experience, the more vital it becomes for you to discover just who is doing the creating.”
― Eric Micha’el Leventha

Many of the limiting beliefs, misperceptions and influences of our early environment become our inner voices. In fact, they become so familiar to us that we think they are us. Yet, many of them sabotage our wellbeing on a daily basis.

Becoming conscious of these inner naysayers can diminish their strength, but often does not eliminate their presence. To truly shift the balance of power, we have to gain access to the subconscious mind and consciously rescript the inner voices. And, we have to amp up the one true voice within us.

Your one true voice is your original inner voice. It knows, on a very deep level, who you really are. By it’s nature, it leads you to your true potential and the life that would most fulfill you and be of the most benefit to others. For most of us, however, our one true voice lies buried under a cacophony of conditioned inner voices.

Rest assured, restoring your one true voice is very doable at any point in your life, once you know how. And, doing so can dramatically change how you feel, behave, make decisions and what you are capable of attracting into your life.

Upgrading Your Inner-Verse

“And can you teach your body emotionally what it would feel like to believe in this way, to be empowered, to be moved by your own greatness, to be invincible, to have courage, to be in love with life, to feel unlimited, to live as if your prayers are already answered…?”

― Joe Dispenza, You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

I have created a new course, Upgrading Your Inner-Verse, to lead you through the process of reprogramming your subconscious mind, using your one true voice.

By doing the work in this course you will …

become conscious of the subconscious mental programming that has been holding you back,

develop a precise list of statements that will effectively help you reprogram your subconscious mind,

learn to use the mechanism of your mind to your advantage,

and how and when to reprogram your subconscious mind.

AND BEST OF ALL, you have the option to receive your very own 30-minute self-hypnosis track!

The track is a high-quality, professionally mixed and mastered track that includes your voice, brainwave entrainment and your choice of one of 5 relaxing backing tracks.

You can listen to this track when falling off to sleep, upon waking, during meditation, or as a power nap during the day. It will help you strengthen your one true voice and mitigate the prevalence and power of your conditioned inner voices. And, it will install a new, beneficial subconscious program that will help you achieve your most important goals.

Brainwave Entrainment To Enhance Reprogramming

Your self-hypnosis track includes isochronic tones, which are a safe form of brainwave entrainment. Like the heart, the brain will synchronize to an outer stimulus. This is called entrainment.

Brainwave entrainment uses the brain’s natural frequency following response as a tool by presenting an outer stimulus associated with the desired mental state.

Brainwave entrainment can be done with pulsing light, low-energy electromagnetic fields or sound from monaural beats, binaural beats or isochronic tones. I embed isochronic tones subtly into the music.

The tones are set at a frequency that can help you bypass the mental and emotional barriers that would normally make the mind resistant to change, making your auto-suggestions that much more effective. (You may also request a track without Isochronic Tones and still gain huge benefits, as there may be contraindications.)

‘Upgrading Your Inner-Verse’ helps you breakthrough early childhood conditioning. It allows you to finally and fully live up to your dreams. You can achieve goals that you haven’t been able to achieve for months, years or even decades and feel more positive confident and empowered in the process.
